Thank you for considering membership in the St. Clair Yacht Club.
SCYC, established in 1945, is a member operated club made up of local and non-local boating enthusiasts. While most of our members are boaters, boat ownership is not required. SCYC does not provide boat services however you will find much of what you need is provided by Kean's, our host marina or the on-site marine dealers offering services such ad mechanical, canvas, paint and glass, and yacht sales. Fuel and pump out as well as stores are also available on site.
The St. Clair Yacht Club is a volunteer club. Membership is gained by application accompanied by both payment of dues and productive service as a volunteer.
We maintain a club facility at 100 Meadowbrook, open nine to five during the off season and regular hours in season. SCYC sponsors the occasional rendezvous which draws boats from all over the area. Join the St. Clair Yacht Club and experience the benefits of membership.
Membership entitles you to enjoy the club facilities, and join in social and competitive boating events including the annual predicted log competition and a dinghy poker run.
All members have access to our website, the membership directory and periodic newsletters. Membership is for the calendar year January-December, and is confirmed with a membership card that is honored in reciprocity at many other yacht clubs. Each resident, voting member is required to volunteer time and expertise to assist in the day to day operations of the club.

Volunteer... your time and talent. Club access assured by both payment of dues and your volunteer service. You support is the lifeblood of the club. SCYC is always looking for dedicated individuals offering help with Club activities as well as leadership positions. Member help to organize or stage an event is always needed. Taking tickets at events, setting up before and cleaning up after event is an easy way to get started.
